Best bet is simply to hike the trail. Guides with limited English abilities
are usually available at the park's headquarters. There's also no reason
why you can't take a mountain bike (BMX) into the park, though rentals are
not available at the park itself. Foreigners hiring a guide for the day to
hike the park have to fork out 100,000 VND ($US 7) and 150,000 VND ($US 11)
if you overnight with him (as in camping, silly). Tours in either dilapidated
long-tail boats or more modern motorboats are available for tourists along
the Dong Nai to the rapids and to the more distant sections of the park.
Alternatively, you can visit these areas via Toyota minibus (accommodating
8-12 passengers) with a Vietnamese guide. Prices range from 150,000 VND ($US
11) to reach the rapids to 500,000 VND ($US 35) for eight hours of touring
the park. Some Jeep rentals are available, but apparently only to scientists
and researchers (if President Grant is your research assistant, perhaps an
exception can be made).
