The best way to get around Pleiku/Kontum is by hired car. A number of locals with motorbikes will be more than happy to pluck you off the street for a lift. Short rides around town shouldn't cost any more than 5000-10,000 dong. Yali waterfalls of Pleiku and the Jrai Li waterfalls can also be reached by hired car or minibus. Motorbike rides to these areas are uncomfortable. Car rentals (with driver) are available from the tourist office on Tran Phu Street.
